minato is the type of guy you would look at and say "that's an emo girl" — he's drowsy, passive, and occasionally has a morbid, stoic sense of humor. it'd probably be easy to mistake him as mean without talking to him, since he's pretty quiet, blunt and to-the-point, and always has his headphones on/around his neck. but he's actually genuinely personable and good with people, not to mention a great listener; if he forms any kind of bond with you he is going to pursue it to the end...ur going in his planner.
he's also pretty sharp and quick-witted in spite of always seeming like he's going to fall asleep somewhere. it's also very hard to rattle him. you can point a gun at him and he'll be like "ok." or the streets can turn bloody while he's walking on them and he'll be like "weird, but ok." he doesn't have much in terms of self-preservation skills, but he'll probably die for you! literally! he has/had "death (straight up)" locked up and harboring inside of him for 10 years of his life and subsequently fell into a messiah role of giving his own life for the sake of humanity, but that's not too important here sans for the fact that he has a bit of a messiah-complex and that bleeds a little into how he interacts with others.

NAV CHOICE: i'm waffling ngl bc both sound cute. i'll see where the tdm takes me. PLOTTING: do y'all like personas... i'm thinking he could be useful in rhys on one hand, but on the other hand you could have a cute pixie helping out with healing. also the sashute population might appreciate theseguys. friend-shaped. i'm only bringing the cute, weak personas (e.g., jack frost) and then orpheus/thanatos but at least thanatos has a built-in nerf by being contained in orpheus.
OTHER: to summon personas he uses an evoker, which is a gun-shaped item that he shoots at his own head. it's kind of a huge mechanic and thematic element in p3 and i think it'd be really funny to subject other characters to that for the first time should they want it, but i won't spring it/describe it w/o warning ofc.

also if anyone likes music he has a very nice mp3 player and set of earphones and doesn't mind sharing w friends, but it's going to be full of the weirdest j-pop/rap shit you've ever heard in your life. apparently he is fond of lotus juice and rapping. i hate it, thanks.
