I think option 1 would be the most dramatic due to the rescue and the frustration over not being able to fight (not to mention Katsuki going wtf! at Izuku for not fighting).

That said, option 2 would be better plot / comfort wise since Izuku won't be alone without Katsuki for 3 months and then have to come up with the "lost time" stories in the meanwhile. Plus getting to battle side-by-side is always fun and depending on canon point they're taken from, it'd either be a reunion or a "wtf?!" situation together.

Which of those two do you have a leaning towards?
